澳洲最大金矿商:今年二季度黄金产量大跌逾11%
澳大利亚最大黄金生产商Newcrest Mining Ltd周一(7月25日)发布声明称,该公司二季度(2016年财年四季度)的黄金产量下滑11%,因旗下位于印尼的Gosowong金矿生产中断,且Cadia操作区的矿石金品位较低。
Newcrest声明显示,截止6月30日止的一个季度,黄金产量从去年同期的673542盎司下滑至598037盎司,不及此前分析师的预期中值628000盎司。与此同时,当季度公司净债务下降27%,至21亿美元,主要因金价上涨令公司现金流增加。
由于美联储推迟收紧政策的步伐,且对全球经济放缓的忧虑提振了黄金的需求,今年以来金价累计飙升25%。据澳洲第三大金矿商Northern Star Resources Ltd总经理Bill Beament表示,他预计今年11月份的美国大选将成为金价进一步上涨的催化剂。
Newcrest股价周一早间在悉尼下跌2.2%,报每股23.52澳元,但今年仍累计上涨近80%。同期国际现货黄金交投在每盎司1317.88美元,年内累计上涨24%。
Newcrest声明显示,该公司二季度实际金价在每盎司1255美元,较2015年同期的1193美元大幅上升。
该公司指出,二季度产量下滑主要因Gosowong金矿在今年2月份遭遇岩土事件后延长暂停生产,同时Cadia处理的矿石金品位下降。
不过,Newcrest表示,由于旗下Lihir的季度黄金产量创下纪录高位,使得黄金的年度总产量从去年同期的242万盎司上升至244万盎司,并且达到240-260万盎司的年产量目标。
此外,声明还显示,Newcrest二季度的黄金生产总维持成本(包括生产投入、管理、资本和勘探)从去年同期的每盎司723美元上升至783美元。其中,Newcrest旗下第二大金矿Cadia成本上升。
