英国央行按兵不动 英镑料创2009年以来最佳周线表现
周五（7月15日）英镑料创下2009年以来最佳周度表现，因预期英国政局和经济面相对平静，但上月公投结果为退欧的整体风险让英镑无法升破1.34的2周高点。
市场许多分析师先前建议逢高卖出英镑，因预期英国央行将降息，且未来数月经济成长将放缓，而多数银行预期英镑将跌至1.25美元，甚至更低。
但英国央行周四并未降息，大出市场意料之外，带动英镑跳升2%；英国央行将静待6月23日公投过后的第一批经济数据出炉。
由于市场原本已有大量作空英镑部位，英国央行的决定可能使未来几周出现轧空。
日内目前英镑兑美元上涨逾0.3%至1.3415，稍早涨幅一度达1%。英镑兑欧元则持稳于0.8327。
英国央行货币政策委员会9名成员中，8人投票支持维持利率于0.5%不变，令许多投资人跌破眼镜，他们原本预期央行将降息，以缓解英国退欧公投对经济活动的冲击。
英国央行宣布决议后，英镑兑美元一度升至1.3480，为6月30日以来最高，之后在亚洲时段再度触及高位。
但交易商表示，英镑要升破1.35美元将面临强劲阻力。
