美联储声明极尽鸽派
美联储周三宣布维持指标利率在0.25%-0.50%不变，符合市场预期，同时暗示仍计划在年内升息两次。不过，美联储在声明中下调了今明两年的经济增长预估，同时下调了长期利率预估，暗示其在年底后收紧货币政策的步幅将不再那么积极。
在美联储公布政策声明后，美元兑一篮子货币扩大跌幅，现货黄金则扩大涨幅，并刷新1296.80美元/盎司的5月3日来高位。同时，以英镑计价的黄金亦攀升0.4%，至近三年高位。
美联储主席耶伦表示，“尽管近期公布的就业数据总体令人失望，但切忌对某一两个月的数据反映过度。”她还表示，美联储预计，就业市场会再度增强。
美联储决策者一直担心就业市场可能存在一些尚未暴露的弱点，以及一旦英国民众在下周的公投中支持退欧，可能在金融市场掀起轩然大波。
耶伦承认，英国可能“退欧”的风险是影响周三利率决定的因素之一，且表示，无论公投结果如何，“都会给经济和全球金融市况造成影响。”
不过，对于联储是会早至7月升息，还是会等到更多良好数据公布后在9月会议上行动，耶伦含糊其辞。金融市场几乎已排除了年内升息的可能性。
值得注意的是，就连前两次坚决主张加息的堪萨斯城联储主席乔治这次也更弦易辙，拥护按兵不动的决策。同时，美联储公布的“点阵图”还显示，预计今年仅加息一次的决策者从3月份时的1位增加到6位。
