世界银行（World Bank）周二（6月7日）公布了最新的半年度全球经济展望报告，并下调了其对全球经济的增长预估，包括美国在内的发达经济体商业支出萎靡不振，而新兴市场的大宗商品出口国则在艰难适应着商品价格的下跌。
根据世行的报告，2016年世界经济料增长2.4%，持平于去年的增速，不过低于1月份时世行预估的2.9%。2017年全球经济增速则预计将回暖至2.8%。
年初以来，世界经济面临的下行风险愈发显著，挑战越来越多，包括商品出口国的经济形势恶化，大型新兴经济体的民间债务上升，以及政策面和地缘政治局势的不确定性上升等。
世行对全球经济增速的下调，其中大约一半原因都要归咎于其将发达经济体的展望下调了0.5个百分点，下调后的增速预测只有1.7%，相比之下发达经济体去年的增速为1.8%。世行将美国今年的经济增速预测下调至1.9%，1月份时的预测则为2.7%。
世行表示，低油价环境造成了美国能源行业的资本支出大幅减少，而强势美元以及外部需求的疲软则拖累了出口增长。世行同时还将其对日本的增速预估从1月份时的1.3%下调至0.5%，主因消费支出和出口疲弱。
