北京时间周二下午4点半左右，比利时首都布鲁塞尔机场与地铁站接连遭受恐怖袭击，爆炸使得全球避险情绪在一瞬间迅速升温，欧美各大股指纷纷低开，以英镑为首的主要货币也短线跳水，而黄金、日元及德国10年期国债等避险资产转而受到青睐。
事件发生后，现货黄金受避险情绪推动快速走高，并于欧洲时段盘初刷新1259.70美元/盎司的日内高位，随后回吐部分涨幅至1250美元附近交投。
周二比利时首都布鲁塞尔扎芬特姆机场和市内欧盟总部附近的地铁站接连发生爆炸袭击事件，目前已造成约两百人伤亡。比利时官方已将事件定性为自杀式恐怖袭击。伊斯兰国(ISIS)宣称对布鲁塞尔的两起爆炸袭击负责。
分析师指出，恐怖袭击会造成恐慌，对市场产生影响。从此前数次恐怖袭击的历史经验，短期内市场波动性往往加剧，风险偏好降低，利好避险资产。但中长期而言，市场对于恐怖袭击的恢复弹性大，且由于恐怖袭击并未对实体经济带来实质性损害，并不会产生持续影响。
