周二（2月16日）亚市盘初，美元指数位于96.75附近水平徘徊，美元/日元位于114.55附近水平徘徊，欧元/美元位于1.1155附近水平徘徊，澳元美元位于0.7135附近水平徘徊，纽元/美元位于0.6640附件水平徘徊。
上一交易日日本股市飙涨引发全球股市大涨，市场风险情绪回暖，美元一路温和走强，避险资产欧元和日元大幅下跌。
周一（2月15日）欧洲央行（ECB）行长德拉基在欧洲议会上表示，如金融市场动荡威胁到欧元区经济前景，则央行将采取行动，欧元跌幅因此进一步扩大。
此外，除了美元的回升，欧元、日元下跌，人民币表现亦非常惊艳，上一交易日人民币大涨逾700点，创下逾10年最大单日涨幅。
周一日本首相对外汇市场过度波动提出批评，这在一定度程度上协助缓解全球金融市场的不安情绪。股市自2月初以来的抛售推动资本纷纷投奔日元这一传统避风港，刺激日元上涨7%，并提升了有关日本或将干预日元汇率的猜测。
日本首相安倍晋三对议会表示，“不乐见过度的汇率波动”，并表示政府将在需要时在汇市采取适当行动。
安倍还表示，希望下周在上海举行的G20会议上各国财政官员能采取适当措施，应对全球经济问题。
中国央行行长周小川淡化了资本管制的好处，并称外汇储备增增减减本身都是正常的。
此外，与大宗商品息息相关的澳元及纽元兑美元双双上涨约0.5%。
