本周一(2月8日)黄金市场的强劲涨势还在继续，金价突破了1180和1190美元/盎司两大关口，触及7个半月最高水平，甚至一度突破重要的心理关口1200美元/盎司。周二亚盘开后，金价在1191美元/盎司水平左右。
周一公布的美联储LMCI指标，也就是耶伦最钟爱的就业数据显示，美国1月LMCI指标公布值仅有0.4，前值2.9，与此前的非农报告吻合，进一步助涨黄金。
全球股市在周一则继续疲软表现，泛欧绩优股FTSEurofirst 300指数盘中重挫约2.5%至1251.09点，触及2014年10月来最低，股市走低有效提振了黄金的避险需求。
10年期美国国债收益率也触及了一年以来的最低水平，同样显现出避险需求。
金价周一一度触及1201美元/盎司的高点，是6月22日以来的最高水平，日内金价涨幅约1.8%。
RJO Futures的高级市场策略师Eli Tesfaye表示：“黄金市场周一受到的推动主要是因为风险资产的表现。”Tesfaye认为，接下去金价的目标将是1210美元/盎司。“人们不得不清仓其股票持仓，把资金转移到更安全的资产中。”
黄金ETF则依据显现出强劲的流入，SPDR黄金ETF的持有量周一流入0.7%，总持有量增值698.46吨。
一名交易员表示：“现在黄金市场中，投资权在不停的买入，很少有出售。”他指出其它投资基金都在转而进入黄金寻求避险。
上周金价5%的涨幅是2013年7月以来的最大单周涨幅，很多投资者们都认为今年年初以来黄金市场的涨势将能够持续。
近期市场的波动以及经济数据的疲软使得市场对今年美联储升息四次的预期愈发减少。目前市场对美联储升息的预期仅剩一次，而不是几周之前的四次。
上周美国劳工部(DOL)公布的美国1月非农就业人口仅仅增加15.1万人，不过失业率意外跌至4.9%，创下2008年2月以来的最低水平，且为2008年以来首次低于5%，看似已经达到美联储所认定的完全就业状态。
黄金市场的情绪改善从期金持仓中也能看出，美国商品期货交易委员会(CFTC)报告显示，截至2月2日当周，对冲基金和基金经理Comex增持黄金净净头寸至三个月最高位。
北京时间周三23:00，美联储主席耶伦(Janet Yellen)将在众议院金融服务委员会发表半年度证词；北京时间周四23:00，耶伦将在参议院银行业委员会半年度听证会上作证词。这将是市场接下去关注的一大焦点。
除了黄金，其它贵金属的表现也同样良好，铂金价格上涨2.2%，触及11月9日以来最高水平，银价上涨2.8%触及11月3日以来最高水平。
