继欧洲央行宣布维持利率不变后，今日澳洲联储也宣布维持现金利率目标在2%不变。
业内人士分析：“澳联储的维持利率不变还是符合市场预期的。”受此消息，澳元兑美元小幅上涨。
澳大利亚央行今日表示，尽管GDP增长低于平均水平但数据依然强劲，经济有望实现持续增长，澳央行未来将权衡金融动荡和就业市场因素。
此前，市场曾预计：澳联储降息25个基点的概率仅为6%，而维持利率不变则占有绝大多。但考虑到上周五日央行的意外降息，市场横遭“黑天鹅”。
分析师们也曾表示，澳联储的决议不可忽视。
据中国国家统计局昨日(2月1日)公布的数据显示，中国2016年1月官方制造业PMI报49.4，创2012年8月以来最低，且为连续第六个月低于50荣枯线，且弱于预期的49.6以及前值49.7。
虽然隔夜发布的美国ISM制造业指数和个人收支数据收获提升，但美元依然相对主要非美走弱。问题出在PMI数据增幅不及预期，连续4个月低于荣枯分水岭，个人收入在年底前止步不前。
BK资产管理的分析师Kathy Lien表示：“综合考虑中国增长前景、金融市场波幅加大以及全球通胀衰减，澳洲联储应该再次降息。”
自12月货币政策例会以来，澳洲的消费者信心、招聘房产市场活动性、广告、贸易、企业信心、服务业建筑业活动性都在恶化。不过零售销售增长、制造业活动性提升，失业率持续下降，就业参与率和相对健康的10月就业整体数据都提供了澳洲联储保持乐观的理由。
