周五（12月25日）公布的数据显示，日本11月核心消费者物价指数(CPI)较上年同期小涨，食品与杂货项目价格上扬，抵销能源价格下跌的部分压力；该指数此前连续三个月下滑。
家庭支出连续第三个月较上年同期下滑，令日本央行宣称消费强劲，能让企业持续调升价格，并协助提振通胀至其2%目标的说法蒙上阴影。
根据总务省数据，11月扣除生鲜食品但包括油品价格在内的核心CPI上升0.1%。10月为下滑0.1%。市场预估中值为持平。
日本11月实质家庭支出较上年同期下降2.9%，降幅超过市场预估中值2.4%，凸显出经济的脆弱状况。日本经济在第三季勉强躲过陷入衰退。
10月时，日本政府评估家庭支出为在窄幅区间波动。但今天其下调对家庭支出的评估，称家庭支出情况疲弱。
一位政府官员称，11月的暖冬天气冲击到冬季服装及取暖设备销售。
日本内阁周四批准创纪录的2016财年预算案，规模总计达96.72万亿(兆)日元(7,999.3亿美元)。
日本央行也于上周微调其大规模的刺激计划，以确保能够维持甚至加速印钞，来实现2%的通胀率目标。
就业市场依然紧俏。11月失业率从前月的3.1%上升至3.3%，但仍处于日本央行认为的接近充分就业的水准附近。
决策者寄望趋于紧俏的就业市场将逐步推动企业加快上调薪资，从而支撑家庭支出。首相安倍晋三多次呼吁企业加薪，但企业迄今置若罔闻。
薪资增长对日本央行达成通胀目标来说至关重要。日本央行将在全国调查企业的加薪计划，结果将在1月18日公布。
