美国亚特兰大联储GDPNow预测模型周三(12月23日)显示，美国经济今年第四季增长环比年率可能降至1.3%，不及12月16日预期的增长1.9%，因为近期数据暗示消费者支出和住房投资增长趋疲。
美国本周公布的一系列数据显示，美国11月新屋销售环比增长，但低于预期，暗示美国房地产市场或许失去了一些动能；美国11月成屋签约销售月率环比减少10.5%，降幅远超预期，录得5年来的最大跌幅，暗示当前房地产市场正逐渐丧失复苏动能。
亚特兰大联储表示，第四季住房投资可能增加0.9%，远低于稍早预估的增长8.0%。
GDPNow模型预计第四季消费者支出增长2.1%，亦低于前次预估的增长2.6%。据显示美国11月消费者支出上升，家庭在购物季伊始放松钱袋，给第四季美国经济增长前景带来提振。
