布兰特原油期货收跌0.68美元，或1.4%，报每桶47.69美元，盘中触及一周高位49.84美元。美国原油期货收跌0.35美元，或0.8%，报每桶44.74美元，油价盘中攀升逾2美元或4%，触及日高。叙利亚冲突加剧使得地缘政治风险升级，这也提振油价周四早盘上涨。
“我认为上述两种因素当中任何一种都不会产生很大的风险溢价，因为原油和成品油库存庞大，足以应对任何短期供应受扰，”Ritterbusch & Associates的油市咨询师Jim Ritterbusch表示。美国国家飓风中心一份修正后的预期显示，飓风Joaquin预计将在纽约市以东约100英里的长岛东部登陆，风力减弱为热带风暴。能源企业称，他们随时警惕飓风Joaquin的动向，但尚未关闭石油生产设施，因飓风的预期轨迹不确定。油市多头早盘买入，汽油期货急升3%，因担忧风暴造成的影响，休斯敦的一位经纪商表示。但汽油在收盘前回吐涨幅，收盘基本持稳。
