美国9月ADP就业数据新增20万人，好于市场预期的19万人，数据后，黄金下跌，美元走强，稍早黄金一度跌破1120，最低触及1119.58美元/盎司。此外，北京时间周四凌晨03：00，美联储主席耶伦、圣路易斯联储主席布拉德将在美联储年度社区银行会议上发表讲话，料给市场带来大幅波动。
近期，市场对美联储年内加息的预期再起，黄金走势因此承压。纽约联储主席杜德利（William Dudley）和旧金山联储主席威廉姆斯（John Williams）克利夫兰联储主席梅斯特（Loretta Mester）均声援耶伦上周“年内加息”言论，只有芝加哥联储主席埃文斯（Clarels Evans）敦促美联储将加息推迟到2016年中。
据外媒周二公布的最新调查显示，84%的受访经济学家表示美联储最终将会在今年12月加息，不到10%的经济学家认为10月会议可能加息。仅有7%的经济学家认为美联储将会等到明年才加息。而在另一方面，市场对于年末前加息的预期仅有40%左右。
