今年，中国央行罕见两度公布增持黄金储备。8月14日中国央行公布的数据显示，截至7月末中国的黄金储备中5393万盎司(1677.3吨)，较6月末5331万盎司增加62万盎司(或19.28吨)，增幅1.16%。
黄金储备一直是各国国际储备多元化构成的一个重要内容，大多数央行的国际储备中都有黄金，我国也是这样。
