德国经济部周五(5月8日)公布数据显示，3月份季调后工业产出月率意外下降0.5%，同时年率也仅增长0.1%不及预期。
与此同时，德国联邦统计局公布的数据显示，3月未季调贸易帐盈余扩大，且超出预期；其中季调后进口月率较上月回升，但季调后出口月率较上月有所下降，不过这两项数据均好于市场预期，显示贸易帐持续成为德国这个欧洲最大经济体的增长引擎。
具体数据显示，德国3月季调后工业产出月率下降0.5%，预期增长0.4%，前值增长0.2%；3月工作日调整后工业产出年率增长0.1%，预期增长0.4%，前值下降0.3%。
德国3月未季调贸易帐盈余扩大至230亿欧元，预期盈余197亿欧元，前值为192亿欧元；德国3月经常帐盈余扩大至279亿欧元，前值为166亿欧元。德国3月季调后出口月率增长1.2%，预期增长0.5%，前值增长1.2%；3月季调后进口月率增长2.4%，预期为0增长，前值增长1.8%。数据公布后，德国经济部在声明中称，德国工业产出今年开局整体疲软。欧元兑美元刷新日低1.1190。
