美国制造业活动放缓

四（4月16日）亚市盘初，美元指数位于98.40附近水平徘徊。上一交易日美元指数再度以阴线收跌，最低触及98.23，目前暂时于98.35一线窄幅波动。
美元连续第2个交易日下跌，因最新公布的数据显示美国制造业活动放缓幅度超出预期，令市场对美国经济增长放缓的顾虑升温，并导致投资者对美联储（Fed）将升息时机押后的猜测升温。
上一交易日公布的数据显示，美国4月纽约联储制造业指数大幅下滑至负1.19，预期为7.00，前值为6.90。
美元兑多数主要对手货币贬值，因数据显示在美元过去6个月升值12%之际，美国工厂在吸引更多外国需求方面出现困难。本月公布的非农就业人口增长及零售销售增长也不及预期。
瑞信集团在纽约的外汇策略师Matt Derr通过电子邮件表示，“美国数据持续疲弱，加之市场热衷于做空欧元，从而导致美元汇率有些起伏不定。”
此外，上一交易日早些时候欧元有所下跌，此前欧洲央行（ECB）行长德拉基称上月推出的1.1万亿欧元（1.2万亿美元）量化宽松措施在提振通胀并重振经济方面有效果。此前3月16日欧元/美元一度跌至1.0458，录得2003年1月以来最低水平。
