美国消费者信心触及近八年高位

据数据显示，美国12月消费者信心攀升至近八年高位，暗示汽油价格回落，以及就市场改善的预期可能提振经济。汤森路透/密西根大学美国12月消费者信心指数初值为93.8，是2007年1月以来最高。
消费者信心数据强于分析师预期，且周四公布数据显示11月零售销售强劲，表明进入假日购物季后消费者的购物热情高涨。
“消费者预期指数急升，预示着未来数月的消费支出强劲，”Pantheon Macroeconomics的分析师Ian Shepherdson表示。
调查主管Richard Curtin在一份声明中称，美国人对薪资增长前景的信心为2008年以来最高。
数据巩固了美国经济好转，薪资增长可能开始加速的观点，这为美国联邦储备委员会(FED/美联储)开始升息奠定了基础。
很多投资者认为美联储将在明年中升息，市场预计联储决策者将在下周举行的政策会议上讨论是否保持在“相当长一段时间内”保持利率在低位的承诺。
联储希望通胀回升至2%，并将通胀超过目标的程度控制在最低水平。
周五公布的数据表明，消费者预期通胀将加速攀升。调查显示，消费者一年期通胀预期从上月的2.8%攀升至2.9%。五年通胀预期也上扬。
这与其他数据反应的情况相左。劳工部周五表示，11月最终需求生产者物价指数(PPI)回落0.2%。
PPI回落受累于汽油价格下跌，但即便扣除汽油价格的拖累，PPI仍然疲软。
扣除食品、能源和贸易服务后的核心PPI持平。核心PPI同比增幅仅为1.5%，自9月以来PPI年率每月下降0.1个百分点。
美联储官员多数认为，目前的低通胀环境只是暂时的。
强劲的消费者信心数据公布后，美国股市一度缩减跌幅，但日内仍然走低，因投资者对油价下跌，及其所反应的全球需求状况感到不安。美国公债价格上扬，美元下滑。
