俄罗斯持续增持黄金

尽管黄金市场在看着瑞士，指望着瑞士公投通过增加黄金需求来推动金价，但就已经过去的时间来看，俄罗斯才是推动黄金需求的国家。世界黄金协会(WGC)数据显示，第三季度俄罗斯继续增持黄金储备，增持量达55吨。
在今年第一季度，俄罗斯买入了6吨黄金，而此后的两个季度，俄罗斯总共增持了109吨黄金，超过此前两年每年全年的增持量。目前俄罗斯的黄金储备已经超过了中国，全球排名第五。以美元计，这些黄金储备是该国外汇储备的10.5%，比去年的8.4%有明显上升。并且这一数字也表明了卢布的贬值，以及俄罗斯因受制裁而流失且无法弥补的外汇储备。
数据显示，目前俄罗斯央行的黄金储备价值453亿美元在今年4月至9月间，俄罗斯黄金储备的美元价值只增加了16亿美元，不过其第二和第三季度增持的109吨黄金在10月1日时还价值42亿美元。价格的下跌显然不是其中差距的原因。
也就是说，俄罗斯的统计在压低其持有黄金的价值。俄罗斯央行用卢布从本地生产商买入黄金，而在制裁之前，这些黄金都会被出售给俄罗斯的银行，然后出口。制裁开始后，俄罗斯国有银行的出口停顿，即使黄金本身并不受限。外国需求的降低使得俄罗斯央行能以低价买入黄金。
此外，俄罗斯黄金储备的增加被认为是其领导层对该国经济恢复忧虑的显现。如果瑞士公投真的通过，瑞士央行就必须买入大量黄金，这也就会推高俄罗斯黄金储备的价值，继而帮助俄罗斯渡过制裁和原油价格下跌的困难。
