德国财长朔伊布勒(Wolfgang Schaeuble)周六(4月25日)暗示，德国在为希腊可能违约做准备，他并提到1989年两德统一计划就是在保密状态下制定的。
周五(4月24日)朔伊布勒与欧元区财长就希腊问题举行了一次讨论激烈的会议。在之后的记者会上，他被问到，欧元区财长是否在制定一项“B计划”，以防希腊融资协商失败。
“对于负责任的政治人士，你都不应该问有关另外选择的问题，”朔伊布勒回答道。
他还补充称，对于未来会发生什么，一个人只需要发挥他的想象力就可以了。
他暗示，如果他肯定地回答财长们在着手制定B计划–当希腊资金耗尽且无力偿债时该怎么办，那就会引发恐慌。
为了解释他的立场，他提到1989年两德统一计划最初制定阶段是有必要在保密状态下进行的。
“如果那个时候，负责的官员–我当时就是其中一位–事先就说，我们制定了一套统一计划，那全世界可能都会说：‘德国人彻底疯了吧！’”
在周五的财长会议上，希腊因为在改革准备方面的拖拖拉拉，受到尖锐批评。改革是希腊从国际金主获得更多金援的前提条件。
斯洛文尼亚财长在那天的会议上提议，因为持续了三个月的协商会谈没有产生任何成果，欧元区财长或许该开始讨论B计划–如果希腊违约该怎么办？
