国际油价本周一开盘大跌2%，并刷新6年低位。因美元指数强势的表现，且市场担心美国储油空间即将告罊。
美国原油期货下跌0.93美元，跌幅2.1%，报每桶43.91美元；布伦特原油期货下跌0.97美元，报每桶53.70美元。
国际能源署(IEA)在月度市场报告中指出，“美国原油供应鲜有放缓迹象。这与市场的预期恰恰相反。”IEA称，美国用来储存原油的油罐可能将很快用尽，同时预估2月全球供应较去年同期上升了130万桶/日至9400万桶/日，这将为油价带来进一步下行压力。
美联储将在本周举行货币政策会议，市场预计美联储最快6月份就可能收紧货币政策。澳新银行分析师在周一的报告中写道：“我们预计美元在周三晚间的美联储会议前将保持坚挺。”
美元的强势将使以美元计价的商品相对其他货币持有者更昂贵。
