地缘危机持续 金价小幅反弹
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场9月黄金期价8月13日收于每盎司1313.7美元，比前一交易日上升了3.7美元，涨幅为0.28%。白银期货下跌0.50%，报每盎司19.81美元。
英央行降低了通胀预期：从英央行的通胀报告内容来看，尽管英央行仍对经济前景持乐观看法，但是降低了通胀预期，英央行将2014年和2015年的通胀预期从1.9%下调至1.8%，在英央行行长卡尼的讲话中，卡尼也并没有对加息表现出明显倾向，并同样表达了对薪资增长疲软的担忧。由于英国经济自今年欧元区出现持续的低迷以后，一直处于低通胀的恶化状态中，令英国央行降低了前景的通胀预期，并采取长期的低利率政策，黄金作为零息资产，则受到当地投资者的追捧，从而刺激了当地的黄金投资需求。
美国或继续向伊国增兵：法国向伊拉克库尔德武装输送武器，并已征得伊拉克政府同意。与此同时，美国将向伊拉克增派130名军事顾问，不排除进一步的增兵计划。对于目前伊拉克的内政纷扰，白宫表示将反对一切阻挠政治进程的行为。由于伊拉克的内战问题，已经引起全球重要经济体的重视，在前段日子里，伊拉克的内战问题，一度对金融市场造成了全球物价快速上涨的恐慌，在内乱问题未得以真正解决的情况下，黄金价格将继续受避险需求的推动下走高。
