纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场5月黄金期价4月30日收于每盎司1291.1美元，比前一交易日下跌4.60美元，跌幅为0.36%。白银期货下跌1.39%，报每盎司19.14美元。
ADP就业数据再创新高：ADP数据处理公司周三公布的数据显示，素有小非农之称的3月ADP就业人数增加22.0万人，创2013年11月以来新高，且高于市场预期。ADP数据涵盖私营领域的就业状况，市场普遍将其视为非农数据前的一大重要预测参考，而美国就业市场的复苏将会提振市场的风险需求，打压避险情绪，对于以黄金为首的避险资产尤为不利。
联储对美国经济复苏保持乐观：美联储在结束为期两天的政策会议后表示，美国经济“将以温和步伐扩张，就业市场状况将继续逐步改善”，这与上月政策声明中的措辞基本一致，而美联储宣布将月度购债规模再次缩减100亿美元，这彰显其对美国经济前景的信心，令原本预计美联储将放慢缩减购债步伐的投资者失望。虽然对市场的整体影响有限，但其对未来经济前景所透露的乐观预期仍小幅打压金价。
