联储政策未有动摇 金价持稳
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场5月黄金期价4月16日收于每盎司1302.2美元，比前一交易日下跌0.20美元，跌幅为0.02%。白银期货上涨0.36%，报每盎司19.63美元。
耶伦强调货币政策需要保持宽松：美联储主席耶伦周三表示，对美国经济而言，持续低通胀是比物价上涨更直接的威胁。在执掌美联储以来的第二次公开讲话中，耶伦谨慎地没有预言何时会将利率从零水准上调。相反，她认为升息决定将取决于就业市场的康复，同时强调联储在未来一段时期会实行政策刺激。作为现任美联储“鸽派”领导人，耶伦的基本风格和前任主席伯南克如出一辙，所以市场普遍认为美联储将会在较长的一段时间持续宽松政策，这将有利于金价。
房地产业仍然拖累美国复苏：美国商务部昨日晚间公布的数据显示，美国3月新屋开工总数年化为94.6万户，低于预期值97.5万户，主要受该国部分气温较高的地区新屋开工下滑所拖累。值得注意的是，美国南部地区3月新屋开工月率下跌9.1%，创去年10月以来最慢；而西部地区3月新屋开工月率下跌4.5%，创近六个月低位。这或表明全球第一大经济体的建筑业复苏将有所放缓，而美国经济复苏的不确定性将会提振黄金价格。
