美联储减债 现货黄金大跌
纽约商品期货交易所（COMEX）2月黄金期货12月19日收盘大跌41.4美元或3.4%成为每盎司1,193.6美元，主要受到美国联储局宣布缩减量化宽松每月购债规模的影响；彭博社报导，此创下2010年8月以来的收盘新低；美元指数上涨0.2%，3月白银期货大跌4.4%成为每盎司19.186美元。
全球最大黄金ETF减持 白银持平：全球最大黄金ETF（交易所交易基金）–SPDR黄金信托基金（GLD.US）19日黄金持有量减少3.9公吨成为808.72公吨，累计今年以来减少542公吨或40%。最大的白银ETF–安硕白银指数基金（SLV.US），白银持有量持平为10,139.78公吨。
今年印度黄金消费受冲击 铂金稳定增长：今年由于印度央行的多项限制措施压抑黄金消费，也对印度国内的金饰造成严重冲击；但是在另一方面，印度铂金饰品的销售今年以来则是呈现稳定增长的局面。根据印度珠宝业者所提供的信息，印度过去几年以来铂金饰品的销售已经增长约25%。不过，铂金饰品占印度珠宝市场的比重仍然较小，预估仅约1%；金饰以75%的市占居冠，钻石市场则以15%的份额居次。此外，印度进口的铂金当中只有35%是用于制作铂金饰品，其余则主要作为工业用途。印度铂金进口有80%来自南非，俄罗斯为第二大进口来源，占12%比重。
Petropavlovsk Plc：今年黄金生产成本降5%；英国上市的俄罗斯第二大金矿商彼得罗巴甫洛夫斯克集团公司（Petropavlovsk Plc）（LSE: POG）表示，该公司预计2014年将生产黄金62-63万盎司，总现金生产成本预计为每盎司950美元，此较今年的成本约降低5%。此外，2015-2019年均产量预估为60万盎司，总现金成本将低于每盎司750美元，主要得益于矿石品位的改善。
