IMF：失业率高于6.5%前不升息：根据公布在国际货币基金(IMF)官网上的两份报告，联储局货币事务部(Division of Monetary Affairs)负责人William English认为FED在失业率高于6.5%前决不升息的策略为经济提供了有效的刺激，而FED研究暨统计部主管David Wilcox也指出疲软的经济、压抑的通膨预期的确能够让货币政策保持宽松。高盛首席经济学家Jan Hatzius 5日指出，由于美国失业率已逐渐逼近FED的6.5%(9月为7.2%)升息门坎，FED极可能将失业率目标再往下调降至6%。
FED：购债带动美国就业美联储(Fed)克利夫兰联储主席皮亚纳托(Sandra Pianalto)周三(11月6日)发表讲话称，美联储已经实现此前希望通过量化宽松带动就业复苏的目标。美联储皮亚纳托：购债计划已如期带动美国就业复苏。她表示，美联储资产购买计划帮助了房地产市场。皮亚纳托指出，房地产泡沫依然是笼罩在美国经济上方的阴影，近期就业市场的数据非常复杂。持续性债券购买的结果并不清晰，减缓债券购买步伐并不是政策紧缩。
