金价下跌致金矿商再次出现亏损：
世界第五大黄金生产商、澳洲最大金矿商纽克雷斯特矿业（Newcrest Mining Limited）将于12月退休的董事长Don Mercer表示，如果金价进一步下跌的话，金矿商将会面临更多的资产减记。2013财年，该公司净损57.8亿澳元（53.2亿美元），为2002年以来首度出现年度亏损，主要因为金价下跌导致62亿澳元的资产减记的影响。
经济疲软 Fed今年或放弃削减QE：
联邦公开市场操作委员会(FOMC)将在10月29-30日召开货币政策会议，由于经济成长力道疲软，FED可能会放弃在今年减码QE的打算，这也推升了公债价格。华尔街日报报导，据调查，仅10%的受访者预估FOMC会在12月的会议上决定减码QE，另有63%的受访者认为QE减码时间可能会落在明年3月、甚至更晚。
