股市劲扬 Comex黄金白银齐下跌
纽约商品期货交易所(COMEX)12月黄金期货10月18日收盘下跌0.6%，收报每盎司1,314.60美元，COMEX 12月白银期货18日也跟随下跌0.2%，收报每盎司21.913美元。
股市劲扬 黄金避险减退：
主因全球股市上扬，削弱投资人的避险需求；黄金期货在前两个交易日受联储局(FED)可能延后减码量化宽松货币政策(QE)而跳涨总计3.9%。彭博社报导，T&K期货及选择权公司 总裁Michael Smith表示，目前股市被人们视为最具利润的投资，且金价在跳涨后也引发获利了结卖压出笼。COMEX黄金期货在连涨12年后，在今(2013)年出现拉回，年初以来已下跌了22%。
传言惠誉下调美国评级 黄金下行压力缓解：
在中国评级机构大公国际将美国本币和外币信用评级从A下调至A-后，市场上突然传言三大评级机构之一的惠誉也将下调美国评级。受该消息的直接推动，金价迅速飙升40余美金。事实上在经历了美国政府关门和债务上限之争后，美联储年内已经无望缩减QE政策，该消息则可能才是金价大幅走高的潜在推动因素，而且在该背景下，金价的下行压力已经大大缓解。
