因美政府关门两周 美联储退市机会或降低：
美国政府停摆后，前半个月缺乏经济数据，预计联储局将难以评估经济状况，今晚褐皮书报告可能会认为经济有缩减，退市机会再度降低。美国政府于今天开始重新正常运作，之前未公布的多项重要数据或许于本周五公布，包括失业率及非农就业数据，预计黄金波幅会较大，而且数据好坏都将影响本月底美联储议息宣布减少买债的可能性。
黄金避险性减少 将跌至4年低点：
最新的一份彭博社分析师调查结果显示，今后四个季度里，黄金将跌至四年来最低点，因为美联储减少刺激措施会抑制黄金作为避险天堂的需求。过去两年预测准确度第二高的瑞信分析师Tom Kendall指出：为对冲货币政策的影响而买黄金的意愿已经减少。如果其他资产类型表现很好，特别是股票，那么投资者也很难把资金撤出来，转投像黄金那种还在下跌的资产。
