COMEX黄金期货上涨 美指小涨
纽约商品期货交易所（COMEX）12月黄金期货10月16日收盘上涨0.7%，收报每盎司1,282.3美元，美元指数小涨0.05%，12月白银期货上涨0.8%，收报每盎司21.365美元。
ETF黄金白银持有量继续减持：
全球最大黄金上市交易基金（ETF）–SPDR黄金信托基金（GLD.US）16日黄金持有量减少3.6公吨成为885.53公吨。最大的白银ETF–安硕白银指数基金（SLV.US），白银持有量减少53.95公吨成为10,391.35公吨。
实物金需要疲弱 印度黄金出口下滑：
印度贸易部周三（10月16日）公布的数据显示，今年4月-8月期间，该国黄金首饰出口较去年同期大幅下滑57.1%，因全球实物金需求极度疲软，同时黄金在工业方面几乎没有需求。数据显示今年4月-8月印度黄金首饰总出口额为1561亿卢比，去年同期为3640.4亿卢比。
自由港印尼公司发生事故 年产量将减20%：
普氏能源信息（Platts）报导，世界最大上市铜矿商、美国自由港麦克墨伦铜金矿公司（Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc.）印尼公司（PT Freeport Indonesia）副总裁Daisy Primayanti周三（10月16日）表示，受到5月中坑道崩塌造成28人致死严重意外，以及随后关闭约六周时间的影响，该公司所属的全球第二大铜矿印尼格雷斯堡（Grasberg）今年产量或较原定目标减少约20%。自由港公司原先预计该矿今年铜产量为11亿磅，黄金产量为120万盎司。
