美两党存分歧 伦敦金价仍未逃出跌势
截止至中国时间2013年10月16日15:00，伦敦金报价1284.4美元/盎司，高价为1286.9美元，低价为1274.3美元，波幅为12.6美元。
加特曼投资黄金赔7%：
知名经济学家加特曼曾在6月底金价跌至低点之际，喊出「黄金最坏状况可能已过」的投资讯息，然而在8月15日在接受CNBC节目专访时，加特曼表示，金价的技术线形看起来糟透了(crappy)，并未走出应有的格局；幸好他持有的是以日圆计价的黄金，这让他躲过亏损25%的命运，至今仅赔了7%，但这仍是不小的损失。
共和党仍狙杀奥巴马医疗设备法案：
共和党对于狙杀奥巴马健改法案还不死心，希望在同意提高举债上限与通过应急预算案的同时延后课征医疗设备税长达两年。众议院议长贝纳(John Boehner，共和党籍)表示，由于党内意见分歧，目前还未有结论产生，但会持续与众议院民主党委员协商。
美国债信评级最快于15日被降：
此前还甚表乐观的参议院民主党领袖里德(HarryReid)抨击共和党明显违背双方先前协议，并警告美国债信最快于15日晚上就可能被降评。道琼社已向惠誉与穆迪两家信评机构求证，但未获回应。
