美元指数下跌 Comex黄金期货上涨
纽约商品期货交易所（COMEX）12月黄金期货10月14日收盘上涨0.7%，收报每盎司1,276.6美元，主要仍因债限谈判的担忧刺激避险需求，美元指数下跌0.1%，12月白银期货上涨0.5%成为每盎司21.354美元。
黄金ETF持有量持平 白银ETF持有量减少：
全球最大黄金上市交易基金（ETF）–SPDR黄金信托基金（GLD.US）14日黄金持有量持平为890.98公吨。最大的白银ETF–安硕白银指数基金（SLV.US），白银持有量减少59.95公吨成为10,505.24公吨。
加拿大丰业银行与珠宝商推出黄金存款计划：
路透社10月11日报导，印度最大的黄金进口银行–加拿大丰业银行（Bank of Nova Scotia）计划与珠宝商结盟推出黄金存款计划，希望借助更广泛的通路以及更具吸引力的利率来吸收印度民间高达两万吨的黄金，同时也舒缓印度政府限制黄金进口之后引发的供应吃紧情况。孟买黄金协会此前称，印度政府提高黄金进口关税的措施实际上伤害该国的黄金产业，应该鼓励银行吸收印度民间持有的大量黄金以增加其流动性，才能够真正降低对进口黄金的依赖。
丰业银行目前正与印度珠宝首饰贸易联盟（GJF）以及印度央行进行磋商。GJF主席Haresh Soni表示，此项计划正与印度央行讨论当中，联盟希望能在4-5周之内获得许可。Soni透露，他对该计划的建议是提供2.5%-3%的利息，而利息同样是以黄金支付，锁定期为2-7年。目前也有其他银行提出黄金存款计划，如国营的印度国家银行，其所提供的利率为0.75%-1.0%，视锁定3-5年的期间不同。
