两党若17日前未妥协 金融市场将“大地震

黄金期货交易暂停10秒 由巨额空头引发
芝加哥商业交易所(CME)发言人表示，黄金暴跌引发当地时间周二08:42暂停交易，12月黄金期货交易暂停了10秒。而令人难以置信的是，此次抛售的罪魁祸首可能是由一笔巨额空单引发。据说是市场上有交易者抛出了5,000手黄金期货合约。约有2,700手成交并触发了熔断机制，此后黄金期货交易中断了10秒，同时流动性得到了补充。(10秒过后)市场再次拥有充足流动性后，剩余的约2,300手成交。
两党未达共识 仍存违约危机
美国政府停摆已经两周，奥巴马谈到需要获得新的国家收入，以长期减少国家预算赤字美国众议院共和党向白宫提供了一项新方案，内容包括避免债务违约和结束政府停摆，也包括一直得到奥巴马支持的福利削减。据外媒报道，美国白宫10月12日拒绝了共和党提出的有关结束政府停摆和提高债务上限的提案。这令市场对于美国两党是否能在截止日前(10月17日)达成协议的担忧升温。大多数国内外投资机构均认为美债违约的可能性不大，但投资者必须要做好应急策略，一旦在17日之前无法达成相应的协议，金融市场将发生一连串“地震”，而与货币市场有直接对冲关系的大宗商品市场必将首先受到冲击。因此，金价仍有继续下滑的可能。
