上周五盘中交易中断 黄金跌幅持续
伦敦金早上开盘价为1271.4美元/盎司，截止至中国时间2013年10月14日12:00，伦敦金报价1271.5美元/盎司，高价为1274.2美元，低价为1268.6美元，波幅为5.6美元。
上周成交量急涌 盘中交易中断
上周美国政府就预算僵局及提高债务上限问题作出讨论，在会议结束后，黄金大幅下跌，盘中交易一度中断。金市当日开盘后随即出现跳水走势，在不到2分钟的时间内下杀25美元。据道琼社报导，由于成交量急涌，美东时间当日08时42分交易所「断线机制(circuit breakers)」还一度被触发，导致市场暂停交易10秒钟。
现货黄金本月跌幅已达4.5%
现货黄金跌至1261.5美元，随后美国开盘，黄金期货价格仍在1268.65-1269.5美元区间徘徊，下跌了18.8美元。本周以来，贵金属已下跌41.75美元，本月跌幅更达4.5%，为60.35美元。
CME集团在市场评论中说道，因债务上限问题有所进展，黄金价格明显受到影响。
英美铂金罢工结束
世界上最大的铂金生产商英美铂金，已同意AMCU工会有关计划裁员的协议，使罢工结束。由于11天的停工，该公司已损失了44,000盎司的铂金生产量。
