美联储会议纪要内容无趣，并没有任何明确指引收缩计划的内容，其中绝大部分内容是联储官员对于联储决议的犹豫，能得出的结论就是美联储内部意见分裂，联储官员可能也很犹豫未来的政策选择。市场的反应也很短暂，可能是受到会议纪要中提到多数联储官员依然倾向于在今年开始缩减购债规模的影响，纪要公布后，黄金价格跌破1300美元。联储局官员未能达成共识，两派的分歧明显，失业率在6.5-6才考虑缩减购债，令市场再度关注退市时间表。
美国两党有妥协趋势：
而美国国会两党进一步就财政上限问题上有妥协的迹象，令投资者获利离场，继而进行观望。
虽然美国财政僵局依旧延续，据彭博社报道，参议院民主党人计划在本周内对一项法案进行测试性投票，该法案将授权奥巴马提高16.7万亿美元债务上限的权力；此外奥巴马日内将和众议院民主党人会面，未来数天将和共和党人会面，这是政府关闭以来奥巴马和共和党就预算和债务问题举行的首次磋商，能否取得进展将备受瞩目。若出现利好消息，贵金属价格将进一步下跌。
