黄金期货下跌 金银ETF减持
黄金期货小跌 白银上涨：
纽约商品期货交易所（COMEX）12月黄金期货10月8日收盘小跌0.5美元或0.04%成为每盎司1,324.6美元，美元指数上涨1%，12月白银期货上涨0.3%成为每盎司22.443美元。
全球最大黄金白银ETF分别减持：
全球最大黄金上市交易基金（ETF）–SPDR黄金信托基金（GLD.US）8日黄金持有量减少1.8公吨成为898.18公吨。最大的白银ETF–安硕白银指数基金（SLV.US），白银持有量减少59.95公吨成为10,565.19公吨。
中国将赶超印度 成最大黄金消费国：
香港政府统计处10月8日公布的《香港商品贸易统计 – 港产品出口及转口》显示，2013年8月，香港出口以及转口至中国大陆的黄金数量分别为13.17公吨与118.204公吨，合计达到131.374公吨；1-8月，香港出口以及转口至中国大陆的黄金数量达到创新高的996.9公吨，逼近千吨大关，已经远超过去年全年的832公吨。中国大陆黄金进口量自今年三月创下223公吨的纪录新高之后，已经连续五个月均突破100公吨。中国大陆今年预计将超过印度成为全球最大的黄金消费国。
巴基斯坦黄金进口年增841% 因印度提高关税：
10月7日报导，巴基斯坦统计局公布的数据显示，自7月起的2013/14财年前两个月，黄金进口量年增841%达到3,265公斤，进口额达1.3562亿美元；去年同期的进口额则仅1,880万美元，进口量为347公斤。数据显示，8月份黄金进口量仅16公斤，主要因为政府在前月进口大增之后暂停进口的影响。巴基斯坦7月份的黄金进口量为3,249公斤，与去年同期的199公斤相比大增15倍。
《MINEWEB》分析报导称，巴基斯坦黄金进口大增部分是因为邻国印度提高黄金进口关税并限制黄金进口的影响，巴基斯坦自2001年起即可以免税进口黄金，希望藉此提高金饰加工的出口。巴基斯坦经济统筹委员会此前指出，该国免税进口黄金的鼓励政策已经遭到滥用，有许多黄金进口并非源于国内的实际需求，而是被走私到印度。巴基斯坦政府也因此在7月31日宣布暂停进口黄金一个月的时间。
