在俄罗斯国际传真社(Interfax)报导叙利亚政府同意交出化武后，法国表示，将在俄罗斯背书下将相关计划提交联合国。
9月10日，俄罗斯外长宣布叙利亚政府同意接受俄罗斯的建议，交出化学武器。
而奥巴马虽然持怀疑态度，但昨晚在接受美国六大电视网采访时说，如果叙利亚方面将化学武器移交国际社会监督，他愿意暂停对叙利亚的打击计划。
此消息一出，金价随之下跌，相信焦点将完全转移至下周的美联储议息会议。
