白银期货由空翻多 ETF持有量创新高

彭博社与道琼斯通讯社报导，白银期货周四（8月15日）收盘较今年六月所创低点每盎司18.553美元已经回升24%，正式脱离谷底而进入所谓的多头市场区域（较近期的低点反弹超过20%）。纽约白银期货15日大涨5.3%成为每盎司22.935美元，主要因为美元、美股下跌以及埃及动乱刺激避险需求的影响。
黄金的投资与首饰需求增长激励银市的气氛。世界黄金协会（WGC）最新报告显示，拜中国、印度分别成长54%、51%之赐，第2季全球黄金首饰需求量年增37%至575.5公吨、创2008年第3季以来新高。此外，全球第2季金条/金币需求量年增78%至创纪录的507.6公吨，同样受中国大陆、印度需求倍增之赐。白银的投资需求也同样强劲。
根据彭博社统计，白银ETF（交易所交易基金）的持有量15日达到创新高的19,890公吨，今年以来累计增加5.1%。
白银协会报告称，中国2012年已成为全球第二大白银加工国，也或将成为全球第二大白银生产国。
