国际现货黄金截止至2019年8月8日1:00报1505.0美元/盎司，早间亚盘最高价为1509.9美元/盎司，金价美盘时段进一步爆发，并且成功突破1500关口。现货白银报17.08美元/盎司，白银大幅上升成功破掉17。
贸易摩擦助涨金价：市场关注的两大经济体的局势没有出现降温的迹，投资者寻求避险，债券、黄金、日元等品种受到青睐，而股市则遭到抛售。贸易局势持续支撑金价。美国政府近日宣称的、拟对3000亿美元中国输美商品加征10%关税，美方一些人士担心，此番对华升级经贸摩擦，在伤害中美农产品贸易的同时，也将严重打击美国农民的利益。
美联储降息预期升温：纽约时段盘中，特朗普再度发表强硬言论，敦促美联储降息。特朗普称，美联储必须更大幅、更快下调利率。不过，美联储官员并不认同特朗普大幅度降息的观点。圣路易斯联储主席布拉德不要指望每次国际政策威胁或声明令市场陷入混乱时都会有更多的降息。
