现货黄金截止至2018年12月31日14：00收盘于1278.8美元/盎司，早间亚盘时段现货黄金开盘小幅回落，随后小幅反弹，但整体波动幅度不大。
美油产量重攀历史高位：12月31日，亚盘时段，油价延续上周五涨势。由于全球原油基准价格徘徊在一年多以来的最低水平附近，因此在新年假期前获利回吐减少。美国EIA原油库存减少4.6万桶，录得连续第四周下滑。此外，美国国内原油产量也回升至1170万桶/日的历史新高。
意大利议会通过新预算案：在2018年12月31日最后期限前，意大利民粹主义政府赢得了议会对其2019年预算的最终批准。此前，意大利财长特里亚否认他可能辞职的报道。因为意大利紧张局势有所缓解，欧元兑美元出现反弹。
