克拉里达将出任美联储副主席：当地时间8月28日，美国国会参议院以69-26的投票，确认经济学家克拉里达将出任美联储副主席。克拉里达的任期将于2022年2月1日届满。在货币政策立场方面，克拉里达被视为 “中间派”人士，他对货币政策的观点与美联储主席鲍威尔基本一致。
多国增加石油供应：非OPEC国家的石油供应中断目前已达到75万桶/日，创下了15个月高点。但是，随着加拿大的石油工厂恢复生产，大部分供应问题将很快得到解决。此外，苏丹和南苏丹之间的一项新协议可能会提高苏丹的石油产出水平。与此同时，预计加拿大、巴西和美国将增加石油产量，这三个国家继续推动OPEC以外国家的石油产量增长。
