美元创出新高 黄金应声暴跌
国际现货黄金截止至2018年8月16日8:00报1170美元/盎司，在美元指数创出年内新高后，金价跌势一发不可收拾，连续跌破1180美元/盎司以及1170美元/盎司的支撑，最终在低点1160.3美元/盎司站稳后快速反弹。
美元强劲拉升：美元指数冲高回落，盘中一度逼近97关口涨至96.99，创2017年6月27日以来新高。市场认为当前美元指数正接近临界点，指标显示出目前美国经济虽然强劲，但是市场开始降低对美国经济的预期值。
美国经济数据向好：继中国、欧盟、俄罗斯及印度后，土耳其宣布对部分自美国进口产品征收高额的报复性关税，美土紧张局势再度升级。但美国经济数据持续向好，美国7月零售销售月率上涨0.5%，远超预期的上涨0.1%，此外7月零售销售录得连续5个月增长，美国7月核心零售销售数据录得连续6个月增长，均支撑美元。
