市场聚焦美联储动向：今日并无重要的经济数据推动市场行情，投资者期待着周三美联储政策决定公布的时间。同时，交易员们还在为美联储主席鲍威尔的演讲做准备。今年，美联储加息的可能性已经超过了50%的门槛，市场将密切关注6月12-13日的会议，以及美联储是否会上调对2018年3次加息的预期。
美国关税恐遭报复性反击：5月18日，日本政府告知世界贸易组织，已准备好采取报复措施，反对美国对其钢铁和铝制品征收关税。日本外务省在一份声明中表示，日本政府通知了世界贸易组织，有权对价值500亿日元（约合4.51亿美元）的美国商品征收关税，这相当于美国对日本金属产品征收关税的额度。随后欧盟宣布可能对28亿欧元（约合33亿美元）美国商品对等征收25%的关税，并不排除后续阶段扩大报复行动。目前仅韩国与美国达成了永久性豁免协议。
