美元乘胜追击 黄金弱势震荡
国际现货黄金截止至5月21日14:00收盘价为1286.8美元/盎司，现货黄金在早间无力冲高后选择回落，目前价格回到近期低点1285附近一线震荡。现货黄金价格依然受到压制，短期内重新站上1300关口上方可能性较小。
实物黄金需求下降：今年第一季度疲软的实物黄金需求很可能是暂时的现象。世界黄金协会估计，第一季度的黄金需求下降了7%，这是10年来的最低点，主要是因为印度需求减少了12%。然而，正如世界黄金协会指出的那样，第一季度印度举办婚礼的好日子相对较少，因此对该季度的黄金需求造成冲击。
美国开展新措施：美国财政部18日以涉嫌毒品走私、洗钱等活动为由，宣布对委内瑞拉执政党副主席卡韦略及其数名亲属进行经济制裁。自去年下半年以来，美国以委国内人权和民主问题为由多次对委实施经济和金融制裁。意味着如果美国执意要因此次大选制裁委内瑞拉，或进一步加重该国的政治经济危机。
