现货黄金市场2017年8月8日4点整收盘于每盎司1257美元，较前一交易日收盘价相比，小幅下跌1.2美元，现货白银微跌0.04美元，4点收盘价报16.23美元/盎司。
当周重磅事件和数据前瞻：8月7日至13日还将迎来美国多位美联储票委的讲话，同时还将迎来美联储重点关注的美国CPI数据，另外，原油市场将迎来EIA、IEA和OPEC三大机构的月度报告，投资者都需要重点关注；相对而言，由于市场对美国的通胀预期有所改善，在数据出炉前，美元有望延续反弹走势，而黄金和非美货币仍有一定的回调空间，而反弹和回调的力度还要新一周数据和事件的影响。
美联储政策路线或难改变：布拉德和卡什卡里是美联储中两位较为鸽派的成员。周一在田纳西州纳什维尔的讲话中，布拉德称，美联储已经准备好在9月开始行动。他说，缩减资产负债表会非常缓慢，并且认为不会对市场产生很大的影响。此后卡什卡里也表达了相同的观点。他预计缩减资产负债表将是一个非常有序的过程，不会破坏金融市场。这或在暗示，美联储对于9月进行缩表志在必得。
