巴克莱认为英镑宜高抛：近期英国央行行长卡尼称可能需要加息，将“在未来几个月”讨论加息问题，英国央行立场转向鹰派，未来可能试图维护英镑的信誉。此前一直预期英国央行货币政策委员会支撑英镑，在英国通胀预期高企的背景下，通过最终对货币政策路径持不同意见的方式实现。当前在英镑汇率和国内平价购买力纷纷回落的背景下，英国央行基本上维护了英镑的可信度。
