中东四国与卡塔尔断交：6月5日沙特官表示根据国际法的规定，以及为了保护国家安全，为了免受恐怖主义和极端主义危险，沙特决定行使其主权权利，切断与卡塔尔的外交和领事关系。此外，沙特还敦促所有兄弟国家和公司也这么做。随后，阿联酋、巴林和埃及也切断了与卡塔尔的关系。
