英国提前大选 欧洲股市暴跌
截止至今日北京时间14:00整，国际现货黄金价格为1284.6美元/盎司，日内最高价为1292.0美元/盎司，最低价为1284.3美元/盎司，延续昨晚阶段高位震荡回落走势。由全球股市暴跌带来的避险情绪逐渐消散，多头疲弱程度加深。
特蕾莎梅宣布提前大选：英国首相特蕾莎梅周二宣布将会在6月8日提前举行大选，并且希望她的党派现在的高支持率能够转化为在国会中的更大控制权，市场认为此举是为了保证英国能按照她的意愿脱欧而服务，但这违背了她之前所说的在2020年前不举行大选的承诺。再加上法国大选前景扑朔迷离，欧洲股市出现集体跳水，资金出逃，拉高金价。
乔治呼吁FOMC缩减资产负债表：堪萨斯城联储主席乔治周二呼吁联邦公开市场委员会从2017年开始收缩其资产负债表，而且要以一种自动化的方式进行，防止出现快速反转的情况。他表示，资产负债表的调整需要以一种渐进、持续且平顺的方式进行，以减少风险。但乔治同时强调，目前尚不确定何时才开始缩减资产负债。该讲话一定程度上助跌美元。
