巴西意外大举降息75个基点：周四，巴西央行将指标利率调降75个基点至13.00%，本次巴西降息幅度之大令市场意外，此前大多分析师仅预期降息50个基点，这或暗示巴西的经济状况衰退严重，急需加速放宽货币政策以提振经济，无论是经济的衰退还是降息，这均会提振市场对黄金的避险保值需求，从而为金价提供部分支撑。
亚股早盘日股跌近1%：周四亚股早盘，涨跌互相。特朗普在首场记者会中，并未发表任何有关基本财政计划，及其经济政策主张的言论，令市场失望。受此影响，日经225指数开盘下跌0.33%，早盘下跌0.80%；中国上证综指微跌0.05%；香港恒生指数微跌0.09%。股市表现欠佳，市场投资资金更多流向有利可图的黄金，从而为金价提供进一步反弹动能，推高金价。
