现货黄金市场2016年11月12日4点整收于每盎司1222.6美元，较前一交易日相比，下跌了36.8美元，跌幅2.92%。现货白银较前一交易日下跌6.95%，报17.27美元。
巨额黄金期货遭抛：11月11日美股开市时段，有超过8.5万份价值100亿美元的黄金期货合约遭到抛售，这使得黄金市场空方力量大增，对黄金构成较强的打压，使得国际金价从1260直接跌至1230以下。
美国消费者信心指数大涨：11月11日公布的一份报告显示，密歇根大学11月美国消费者信心指数初值，升至6月以来最高，但此次报告是根据在美国大选结果出炉前收集的数据。具体数据显示，密歇根大学11月美国消费者信心指数初值为91.6，预估为87.5，10月终值为87.2。这显示出美国市民对未来经济的看好，对美元构成利好，使黄金走势雪上加霜。
