亚太股市普遍走衰：周五，早盘英镑崩盘导致市场情绪遭受重创，亚洲股市因此不同程度走弱，其中，澳大利亚ASX 200指数下滑0.47%，日本日经225指数走势相对平稳，微跌0.02%，韩国KOSPI指数则小幅走弱0.09%。股票市场的下跌，使得部分资金撤离股市，转向避险资产黄金，从而为现货金价提供了反弹动能。
离岸人民币触及9个月新低：本月初，人民币加入IMF特别提款权协议正式生效，市场普遍预期人民币汇率将大幅升值，但事与愿违，美元指数在黄金周期间节节走高，这对于离岸人民币构成了显著的压力，周五，离岸人民币价格触及6.7178，为今年1月7日以来新低。人民币的贬值，或将刺激市场对黄金的需求重燃，从而为黄金提供支撑。
