欧洲利率不变 黄金承压下滑
现货黄金市场2016年9月9日4点整收于每盎司1337.2美元，较前一交易日相比，下跌了7.2美元，跌幅0.54%。现货白银较前一交易日下跌0.86%，报19.58美元。
欧央行维持利率不变：欧洲央行周四一如预期维持利率不变，并维持其1.74万亿欧元的资产购买计划的主要参数不变。德拉基随后在记者招待会上表示，没有讨论延长购债时间的计划，目前不需要更多的刺激。受到德拉基措施的“鹰鸽”大转换，欧元先跌后涨，创近两周新高1.1327，同时削弱了市场对经济前景的忧虑，使黄金承压下挫。
美初请数据强劲：美国劳工部周四公布的数据显示，美国9月3日当周，季调后初请失业金人数减少4000人，至25.9万人，好于预期26.5万人，且创7月中旬以来最低位，前值为26.3万人。这表明美国劳动力市场依然健康，从而对美元构成利好，打压黄金。
